The HAKU Series is a testament to the beauty of expert hand craftsmanship. Exceptionally sharp, minimalistic, and beautiful. Rich, ultra-dense African Blackwood handles provide exceptional comfort and precision for the chef.

  • The 9-inch Honing Steel features a half-grooved and half-smooth finish.
  • The grooved, coarse side of the steel is used for regular maintenance, to realign the microscopic teeth on the blade’s edge.
  • The smooth, fine side of the steel is used to finish the edge with a few swipes of the blade after honing on the grooved side.
  • For average use, the grooved side can be used weekly, and the smooth side, daily. Regularly honed knives will retain their edges longer before needing to be sharpened.
  • Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and manufacturing.

    Purchased this knife along with a couple others that have the same steel blades, I can’t say enough great things about how sharp these are and how they perform! They are magnificent!

    Very nice Japanese style knives

    Very sharp and beautiful knives. Some mineral oil or butcher block conditioner keeps the wood looking nice. Light weight with a nice balance.

    Fantastic Mini

    I am delightfully pleased with how really well this little Nakiri functions. An elegant little package that performs perfectly out of the box. Super sharp, and very well balanced for such a small, but truly useful tool. Thank you for making such a great knife.

    Excellent knives

    These are excellent knives. I received one as a gift and liked it so much I decided to purchase a few more. Razor sharp out of the box and they remain sharp for a long time. Can’t go wrong with these
