Product Description

A beautifully-crafted knife that will elevate any kitchen. Exceptionally sharp and striking in design, the full-tang X-7 Damascus steel blade features a hammered texture that looks stunning and allows food to slide right off the blade for easy slicing and dicing. The balanced, durable octagonal handle comes in a rich blue and black faux-wood-grain pattern and is complemented and secured by a single mosaic rivet. Each knife comes with a deep blue wood magnetic Saya-style sheath that is perfectly shaped to protect the knife's distinct blade.

The 3.5-inch Paring Knife’s shape is similar to that of the much larger chef’s knife, but the smaller size will be more comfortable for precise prep-work that requires increased control. The paring knife is a kitchen essential for tasks such as slicing small fruits, trimming mushrooms, chopping herbs, creating a garnish, or peeling and mincing garlic.

  • Hand-sharpened knife
  • Forged from 67 layers of Cangshan proprietary X-7 Damascus Steel
  • 60 +/- 2 Rockwell Hardness Rating
  • G-10 fiberglass octagonal handle
  • Full-tang knife blade with a hammered texture

A Knife That Earns Its Place on the Cutting Board

After spending time with the KITA Series 8-Inch Chef’s Knife, I can confidently say it’s a knife built for both performance and craftsmanship.

The balance feels exceptional in hand, making everything from breaking down proteins to everyday prep comfortable and precise. The High Carbon X-7 Damascus steel takes an incredibly sharp edge and holds it well, giving you confidence through every cut.

Beyond the performance, the fit and finish are outstanding. The Damascus pattern is beautiful, but this knife is much more than good looks—it’s built to be used. I also appreciate the included sheath, which is a great addition for chefs who travel or want to protect their investment.

Whether you’re a professional chef or a passionate home cook, this is a knife you’ll enjoy reaching for every day.

    Beautiful & functional

This knife is super sharp right out of the box. I made razor thin carrot slices with almost no effort. The pieces didn't get all stuck on the blade. I can already tell this is going to be a workhorse. I wasn't sure if I'd like the edges on the handle but it's comfortable. The magnetic cover feels substantial, something actually worth keeping. Beautiful presentation in the box.
