Product Description
The refined Thomas Keller Signature Collection by Cangshan is a model of precision and craftsmanship. Slim, sleek and exceptionally well-balanced, each knife is meticulously designed to elevate and augment the skills of the user. Chef Keller was instrumental in the design of this Fine Edge Utility Knife, rigorously focusing on every detail to ensure it performs flawlessly.
  • Designed by Michelin-starred chef Thomas Keller and crafted by award-winning cutlery maker Cangshan.
  • Utility knife excels for jobs that require a smaller, thinner and more agile blade than a chef's knife.
  • Forged from Swedish Damasteel® RWL34 powdered steel, an extraordinarily fine-grained, high-alloy steel known for its excellent edge strength, hardness and corrosion-resistance.
  • Ultra-precise 6-stage heat treatment creates a Rockwell hardness rating of 61 +/-2, allowing the blade to take a remarkably sharp edge.
  • Hand polished and hand sharpened by expert bladesmiths.
  • Packaged in attractive walnut storage box featuring Chef Keller's signature.
  • Winner of 2019 Red Dot Design Award.

    BEST! KNIVES! EVER!

Can you spend more and get a better knife? Yes. Can you spend less and get an "acceptable" knife? Yes. Some might even argue that you can spend less for a better knife. But why? Okay, maybe you are an executive chef at a 5-star Michelin restaurant and want to spend $500 for a Chef's knife, but if that isn't you, these ARE the best. I've now got the TK 8" Chef's knife, the 7" Santoku and now the 5" utility knife. I'm building my set one at a time and these will eventually replace my almost 30-year old Zwilling 4-star set (which ain't bad, but my daughter would LOVE them). I'm trying to decide if bread knife or carving set is my next purchase. I'd LOVE to have the 14" x 20" end-grain walnut cutting board. Maybe I'll put it on my Christmas list.
