The Prazision Collection is manufactured in a factory that was founded in 1956 in a knife manufacturing district located in Solingen, Germany also known as the "City of Blades". Solingen has been known for quality blades since the Middle Ages and has continued this tradition of further developing the design and functionality of cutlery into the modern day. By the 19601s Germany was responsible for 60% of the cutlery worldwide with 70% of that coming directly from Solingen. This knife-making district is a city of rivers that allowed the factories to become early adopters of hydro-power letting them master high levels of uniformity and quantity. These cutting-edge factories were also easy to later convert to steam and diesel power as advanced technologies become available. Expert blade-smiths and sword makers have perfected their craftsmanship over centuries and that beauty and quality can still be found today.
